SOUTHAVEN, Miss.
(3/4) -- Junior guard Terrill
Humphrey has been
named to the First Team All-Gulf South
Conference, it has been announced.
Humphrey leads the team and is tied for
fourth in the Gulf South Conference in
scoring (18.0 ppg), leads in 3-point
field goals made and is seventh in
3-point field goal percentage. The St.
Augustine, Fla. native is eighth in the
nation in 3-point field goals made (92).
He has scored in double figures in 22 of
26 games this season, including the last
10 consecutive games. He has also made
at least five 3-point baskets in eight
games this season, including tying a
school single-game record of eight
3-point baskets against Augusta State
University.
UM (12-15) competes at the 2008 Gulf
South Conference Men's Basketball
Championships beginning Wednesday. UM
(No. 5 East) will meet the University of
Arkansas-Monticello (No. 4 West) in a
first round game Wednesday night at 7:30
p.m. The game is scheduled to be
broadcast on UM Internet Radio, with
Jason Green describing the play-by-play
action and will also be available on
video pay-per-view broadband, via the
Gulf South Conference website.
