 Falcons Finish Fifth at Tennessee Tech Invitational
 

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The University of Montevallo women’s cross country team finished fifth at the Tennessee Tech Cross Country Invitational. The Falcons raced three NCAA Division I opponents while defeating one, Tennessee State University.

Freshman Ginny Davis (Madison, Alabama) finished 15^th with a time of 20:15 while sophomore January Waters (Grayson, Georgia) came in 22^nd with a time of 21:01. The next Montevallo finisher was freshman Katherine Schofield (Snellville, Georgia) who finished in 30^th.

The final two scorers for the Falcons were juniors Katie Munkus (Trussville, Alabama) and Lindsey Golay (Sharpsburg, Georgia).

The Falcons will return to action Saturday, Oct. 18 at 10 a.m. as they head to the Jacksonville State University Foothills Invite.
