Jonathon Hewitt will compete in his first season with the Falcons. He will compete for playing time in the backcourt. He will come to the Falcons with championship experience, as his Fresno City College team won the California Junior College championship this past season. He was ranked 37 among the top California JC players and was named First Team All-Conference. He also was the recipient of the Best Offensive Player Award, as he competed for coaches Vance Walberg and
Ed Madec.

Jonathon was a First Team All-State selection his senior year while competing for coach Chuck Vallero at Hilltop High School in Fresno. He also scored 50 points in a game his senior year and was named team MVP. Jonathon also competed for coach Joey Munoz at Fresno High School for three years. He was twice named team MVP and twice named an All-League pick.

He has two brothers Van Crowder and Lawrence Pinnick, along with two sisters Javon Hewitt and Jamine Hewitt. A mass communications major with an emphasis in journalism at UM, he is the son of Jacqueline Hewitt and John L. Hewitt.
