University of Montevallo to close Feb. 11 due to Winter Storm Warning

Attention UM Students, Faculty, and Staff:

The University of Montevallo will be closed Tuesday, February 11. This includes all classes and extracurricular activities. Classes and activities for the remainder of Monday, February 10, will proceed as scheduled.

At this point, it is not possible to know how the developing weather system will directly affect Montevallo, but this decision has been made out of concern for the safety of our students, faculty, and staff commuting in the entire region.

We will continue to monitor the weather and road conditions throughout the day Tuesday and will make a determination about Wednesday as needed.
