Information for New Students
The University is looking forward to resuming in-person instruction on a regular schedule for the fall 2020 semester, with the understanding that the global climate surrounding COVID-19 remains a fluid situation. Accordingly, University leaders are continually monitoring COVID-19 developments with the guidance of federal and state officials. The safety of UM students, faculty and staff is paramount, and any future decisions involving instructional changes will be communicated electronically to campus should the need arise.
Here is a message from Student Health Services about information you need to know as you plan for the fall semester.
UM is also excited to welcome new and returning students safely to campus residence halls in the fall. In an effort to help families as they face the challenges associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, the University has extended the deposit deadline for the fall semester until June 1.
Welcome to UM
We look forward to your arrival for the fall 2020 semester. Take a virtual tour of your new home!
