It also feels good to get some fresh air and steady exercise while getting to where you need to go. ValloCycle, Alabama’s first city-wide bicycle sharing program, is available to all members of the Montevallo community.
For just $20 a term (3 terms per year: Fall, Spring, Summer), you can rent a bike to use for the entire term. Stop by City Hall during regular business hours to fill out a registration form and pick out a bike. You may also borrow a bicycle free of charge for use during one of our monthly group rides – we advertise our group rides via email for the UM community, or you can follow us on Facebook for information on these rides.
If you need help getting your bike ready to ride, a bike-repair station is available at UMOM on the Main Street side of the building.
