Art Department to present Virginia Barnes exhibition

The UM Art Department presents an exhibition of Virginia Barnes’ prints curated by the Art 327: Collections and Exhibitions students.

Barnes (1895-1984) was a UM alumna and art professor. This exhibition explores connections between Barnes’ printmaking processes and the people, places, and environment of Montevallo.

The opening reception is set for Dec. 3 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Carmichael Library on the UM campus. The exhibition will be on display through Feb. 1, 2015.
