The student will be notified no less than three (3) school days before their scheduled hearing. The letter will include the date, time, and location of the hearing, in addition to the date of the incident, and alleged violation(s) of the Student Code of Conduct. Hearing notifications will be sent to the students University’s email address. This is the University’s official means of communication with students. In some situations, the notification may be hand-delivered and/or sent via US mail. Cases will be investigated and may be determined in absentia based on information gathered and/or submitted when a student(s) and/or organization(s) fail to attend their hearing. Hearings may be delayed during time periods in which the University is closed.
