Community service and internship fair set for March 24

A community service and internship fair will take place Tuesday, March 24, from 9 a.m.-noon in the Anna Irvin Dining Hall.

A number of agencies will be on hand to talk to those interested in learning more. Agencies currently scheduled include:

SafeHouse of Shelby County,
Boys and Girls Club,
Shelby County RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program),
Alabama Possible,
The Day Program,
ARC of Shelby County,
Shelby Emergency Assistance,
United Way of Central Alabama,
Hands on Birmingham,
Success by 6,
Alabaster YMCA,
McWane Science Center,
Project American Life,
Falcon Scholars in Action,
Make-A-Wish Alabama,
Shelby County Historical Society and
Childcare Resources.
