
Lily Elmore was recently elected senior class president.
Lily Elmore, a University of Montevallo student from Decatur, was recently elected Senior Class President for the UM Student Government Association.
Elmore is an upcoming senior and political science major at the University. In addition to holding this position for the class of 2018, she will serve on the SGA’s Executive Cabinet and manage senior class activities such as the class gift and Senior Elite Night.
“I am so excited and honored to be serving my class as president, and look forward to a fun and productive year for our class and University,” said Elmore. “Thank you to everyone, especially my family, for your love and support.”
The University of Montevallo SGA strives to facilitate better relationships between the faculty, staff and student body. They work to assess problems, make positive improvements and facilitate change at the University. SGA promotes the ideals of UM, ensures unity through diversity and serves as the student voice to the faculty.
