UM is pleased to welcome back to campus Dr. Dmitry Goncharov, for a timely and interesting talk entitled “Authoritarian Elections: The Case of Russia.” Please join us on Monday, April 15 at 4 p.m. in the J.A. Brown room in Carmichael Library. Dr. Goncharov served as UM Vacca Professor during the year 2008-9. He is currently Professor of Political Science at the National Research University in St. Petersburg, Russia. In addition to teaching here at UM, he has been the recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship at the University of Georgia, and has taught at various international universities. He is the author and co-author of numerous books and articles, most recently on anti-corruption protests, and on the politics and public administration of post-communist countries.
