Study Abroad Informational Session
Have you ever wondered: What is study abroad? What are the advantages of studying abroad? Is it very expensive? Can I get financial aid? Do I need to speak another language? Does the University of Montevallo have study abroad opportunities? Do I get credit for classes taken in another country? Where can I travel? Where can I stay? Who do I talk to for information?
The Foreign Languages Department and the Office of Academic Success invite students, faculty and academic advisers to an information session on faculty-led and independent study abroad and study away possibilities at the University of Montevallo Thursday, Oct. 31, at 3 p.m. in Comer Auditorium. Join us to learn more about UM opportunities for faculty-led and independent traveling opportunities, credit, financial aid, etc.
Individuals needing disability-related accommodations during this event should contact the host department or Disability Support Services (205.665.6250, DSS@montevallo.edu) as early as possible. Efforts will be made to accommodate all access requests regardless of timing, but the University cannot guarantee that requests made with less than one week’s notice can be met.
