Brunner named to UM Foundation

The University of Montevallo has named Scott Brunner to the UM Foundation Board of Directors. Brunner is senior VP of communications and state legislative affairs for the National Community Pharmacists Association.

In addition to his work, Brunner has authored several books including “Due South: Dispatches from Down Home” and “Carryin’ On: and Other Strange Things Southerners Do.”
Brunner earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and English from the University of Montevallo in 1986. He went on to earn his master’s degree in political science from Auburn University.

Brunner resides in Richmond, Virginia with his wife Karen and children, Emma, Jackson and Pate.
