
Abbey Rothfeldt was recently selected as SGA administrative vice president.
Abbey Rothfeldt, a University of Montevallo student from Guntersville, was recently appointed to the position of administrative vice president for UM’s Student Government Association.
Rothfeldt is a sociology and psychology major at the University, and will be a junior this fall. She was chosen for the position by SGA President Liz Juarez.
“I’m really excited about this upcoming year,” said Rothfeldt. “We did a lot of hard work last year, and I know that Liz has every intention to continue that drive. I can’t wait to start the next year!”
The University of Montevallo Student Government Association strives to facilitate better relationships between the faculty, administration, staff and student body. They work to assess problems, make positive improvements and coordinate change at the University. SGA promotes the ideals of the University of Montevallo, ensures unity through diversity and serves as the student voice to the faculty and administration.
