Zelma Cable, a University of Montevallo student from Rome, Georgia, was recently elected the 2017 senate clerk for the UM Student Government Association.
Cable is an upcoming sophomore and communication studies major at the University. She graduated from Armuchee High School in 2016 and expects to graduate from UM in 2020.
The University of Montevallo SGA strives to facilitate better relationships between the faculty, staff and student body. They work to assess problems, make positive improvements and facilitate change at the University. SGA promotes the ideals of UM, ensures unity through diversity and serves as the student voice to the faculty.
