The University of Montevallo’s Undergraduate Research Day is held each spring to highlight undergraduate student research. It is open to all students who have completed an independent research or creative project in any discipline.
This year’s event is scheduled for Wednesday, March 25 from 9 a.m. through 4 p.m. in Harman Hall on the UM campus.
Students participating must have worked with a faculty mentor who will review the final product before it is presented. Research findings may be presented via poster (or appropriate display) or by oral presentation. Again this year there will be a panel of judges to award cash prizes to the most-outstanding presentations. Awards will be given for the three most-outstanding oral presentations and the three most-outstanding poster presentations.
